Development Manager Role

The Development Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the project strategy and driving commercial acuity.

About the Position

This position is based in Tweed with regular travel to Brisbane. As a Development Manager, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on a large-scale Masterplanned Community on the Tweed Coast.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Develop and maintain financial models for current and prospective projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Implement Residential Sustainability Policy at the project level, promoting environmental stewardship.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring meticulous execution.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and cultivate strategic relationships.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Collaborative Approach: Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary teams with a collaborative and adaptive mindset.
  • Project Planning Expertise: Proficiency in project planning, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Development Management Skills: Track record in development management, ideally within greenfield residential land or similar sectors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial insight with significant experience in forecasting and financial management.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Focused on utilizing customer insights to inform decision-making processes.
  • Results-Oriented: Driven by results with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Educational Qualifications: Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, providing a solid academic foundation.
