We are seeking a Principal Experience Designer to lead our Customer Experience and Insights team based in Perth CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of human-centered design methodologies to identify customer needs, pain points, and behaviors, and define the customer problem to solve.
  • Align customer experience initiatives with business goals and objectives, balancing customer desirability with business feasibility and viability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer experience design into the overall business strategy and raise the profile of customer experience throughout the business.
  • Further the development of the customer experience methodology aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends and best practices in customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in discovery and design techniques and methodologies, such as design thinking, human-centered design, and service design.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' professional experience in customer experience or user experience methodologies, with at least 5 years' experience using design thinking and HCD principles.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodology principles and customer experience software will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
