Our team specialises in providing world-leading expertise across various industry sectors, producing award-winning sustainable engineering solutions throughout the lifecycle of any building project. Some of our notable achievements include collaborating on an innovative office for Google, the largest arts centre in Scotland, and an energy-efficient data centre for Facebook.

The Role You'll Play

In this Graduate Sustainability Consultant role, you will join a team of specialists in the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in Australia and worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated graduates looking to start a career in sustainable design and the built environment to be part of our Graduate Program.

As a member of our team, you will develop your knowledge and skills under the guidance of experienced staff across multiple offices. Your key responsibilities will include analysing, reporting, modelling, and documenting sustainable design projects. You will perform tasks such as sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation, manage green building certification, develop strategies for water conservation, and drive the reduction in upfront emissions.

You will work across a variety of sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential. Over time, you will assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.

The Skills You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in Engineering, the Built Environment, or a related area. Exposure to relevant skills in academic or professional settings is essential. Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are also crucial.

You should ideally have some knowledge of ESD rating tools and a passion for creative and intuitive design. Experience with energy modelling software and parametric modelling software is viewed positively but not essential.
