Vehicle Detailer Position Overview


The Vehicle Detailer role at Avis Budget Group is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and delivering exceptional customer service. As a detailer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, washed, and vacuumed to provide customers with a clean and safe vehicle experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the interior and exterior of vehicles, including cleaning, washing, and vacuuming
  • Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels, and tire conditions along with pressure and tread depth
  • Assess vehicles for any potential new damages and report them as per ABG's vehicle damage procedure

Requirements:

  • A full and valid Australian driver's license
  • Availability to work a rotating roster (including weekends, evenings, and public holidays)
  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service
  • Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
