Job Title: Vehicle Detailer

Prestige Auto Traders is part of a dynamic and prestigious automotive retail group. As a Vehicle Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle presentation, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

This role involves working in a fast-paced team environment, performing thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior.

Main Duties:

  • Performing thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including inspecting for defects and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintaining and organizing detailing equipment and supplies.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by maintaining the wash bay and detailing area in a clean and orderly way.
  • Managing chemicals and performing other tasks/duties requested/assigned by supervisors or managers.
  • Maintaining the area around the dealership ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Fitting number plates to used vehicles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A basic knowledge of motor vehicles and maintenance procedures.
  • A high attention to detail and time management skills.
  • The ability to multi-skill and prioritise duties.
  • A current driver's licence and experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
  • An understanding of typical business structures within the retail automotive industry and an honest and professional nature.
