Senior Release Coordination Specialist

World leader in the gaming entertainment industry is seeking an experienced Technical Release Manager to assist the Technical Operations Manager in all release-related activities.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in Scrum and Agile delivery standards, Jira and Confluence, and MS Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent project management skills.

**Responsibilities**:

  • Training and coaching on Scrum and Agile delivery standards and Ways of Working
  • Be an SME on Jira and Confluence and be able to coach others on utilising both
  • Working alongside the technical operations manager
  • Ensure that the release process is well-documented and adheres to our standards
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that releases are delivered on time and are of high quality
  • Coordinate with other teams, such as QA, Operations, and Support, to ensure that releases are properly tested and supported
  • Monitor and track the status of releases and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the release process
  • Continuously improve the release process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
  • Manage and prioritize competing demands and ensure that the release process meets the needs of the business

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software release management
  • 5+ years of experience in Jira and Confluence
  • 5+ years of experience in MS Projects
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with software version control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with build and release automation tools, such as Jenkins or TeamCity
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
