Job Role Overview

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that technical specifications align with business objectives. Your key responsibility will be to develop a deep understanding of system functionality and design to ensure that technical specifications are feasible, sustainable, and scalable.

You will conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions, perform gap analyses, create process maps, identify acceptance criteria, and produce artefacts for business stakeholder presentation and agreement.

Your key tasks will include undertaking system health assessments, developing business/system requirements, sourcing and maintaining artefacts, conducting assessments, liaising with vendor and technical teams, and sharing knowledge within the team.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong experience in defining requirements for systems used in road transport operations, PSN networks, radio channels, and network protocols.

You will need to have proven ability to write detailed specifications for telephone and radio communication systems, skilled in developing requirements and use cases for integration, able to review and understand network architecture, and comfortable working onsite with business and operations teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in defining requirements for various systems used in road transport operations, PSN networks, radio channels, and network protocols.
  • Proven ability to write detailed specifications for telephone and radio communication systems.
  • Skilled in developing requirements and use cases for the integration of telephone and radio communication systems.
  • Able to review and understand network architecture across all layers and sites.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience working on complex technology programs, including data analysis and solution delivery.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable work packages.
  • Proven capability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
