Job Description:

As a Speech Therapist with our organisation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with communication disorders. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing and treating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech, language, and cognitive-communication deficits
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication strategies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or related field
  • Australian Certification of Speech Therapy (ASPA) or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly Indigenous Australians
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
