Midwifery Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled midwife to join our maternity team. As a key member, you will provide safe and effective care in a patient-focused environment.

About the Role

  • You will have current registration with AHPRA as a Midwife.
  • Experience in antenatal, postnatal, birth suite, special care, and women's health is essential.
  • A Bachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalent is required.
  • You must be able to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a commitment to the care of others.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide direct antenatal care to mothers.
  • Giving direct postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
  • Specialised care for babies who require additional support and monitoring following their birth.
  • Hands on experience in labour and delivery support, and documentation.
  • Direct care to patients on the ward using a patient-centred approach.
