Global Payments Leader

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our payments FIG sales team in ANZ. As Head of Payments FIG Sales, you will be responsible for growing and developing the sales strategy for existing and prospective clients in the FIG sector in Australia and New Zealand.
Your primary objective will be to deliver the annual sales budget covering the entire Payments suite of products, including core cash clearing, liquidity management, foreign exchange, merchant services, trade, and working capital solutions.
- Develop a comprehensive account plan, identifying prospects/opportunities, developing the approach/account, and calling plans to engage partners/senior managers to influence prospective clients.
- Partner with coverage, product, client services, and implementation teams to execute the sales strategy, achieve business sales objectives, expand market share, and increase revenue with target bank clients.
- Manage and supervise the entire sales process, engaging in client onboarding activities, including client due diligence in accordance with J.P. Morgan's internal guidelines in AML and KYCs.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Exceptional sales management experience in payments, with an established client network and the ability to build and develop client relationships, win, and close new businesses.
- Deep knowledge of product/solution sets relevant to the market, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment, with expertise in AML/KYC risk and control processes.
- Managerial experience in leading and driving high-performance teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
