About the RoleThe Process Improvement & Training Senior Officer will work closely with Payroll Operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance governance, reduce errors, and improve productivity. This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, assessing current workflows, and developing tailored training programs for the payroll teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate payroll workflows to identify areas for improvement, streamline operations, reduce errors, and enhance governance
- Update and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in legislation and system improvements, ensuring compliance across operations
- Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions, including inductions for new staff and refresher programs, to maintain high performance and operational standards
Requirements:
- Strong technical and organisational skills, including the ability to simplify complex processes and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across all organisational levels
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver learning programs, particularly those supporting change management, with proven facilitation skills
