Job Overview

Seeking a Business Architect to work at the heart of large-scale Duck Creek programs. The successful candidate will help insurers modernise their platforms and align technology solutions to business outcomes.

This is a senior client-facing role working on complex projects, collaborating with technical teams to deliver scalable architectures that balance immediate delivery with long-term flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights) and strong knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Rating, Forms, and platform capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business and solution design for Duck Creek implementations across Policy, Billing, Claims, and Insights
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications
  • Define scalable architectures that balance immediate delivery with long-term flexibility
  • Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Drive consistency and governance through standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Support testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance activities
  • Deliver training and maintain solution documentation
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in P&C insurance domain processes, with at least 5 years in implementation
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights)
  • Strong knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Rating, Forms, and platform capabilities
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect or similar role in insurance technology
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, web services, middleware)
  • Strong skills in data modelling, workflow design, and business process analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
