Job Title: Hospitality Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced couple to lead our hospitality operation in a remote venue in Outback South Australia. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to manage a multi-faceted business that includes motel accommodation, caravan park, fuel, food, and retail outlets.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee the daily operations of the entire property. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of the bar, accommodation, fuel, retail, restaurant, caravan park, and grounds
  • Leading, recruiting, training, and mentoring a team of up to 15 onsite staff
  • Ensuring stock control, ordering, freight logistics, and merchandising are carried out efficiently
  • Handling cash, banking, rostering, invoices, and timesheets
  • Monitoring fuel management, power generation, and water desalination oversight
  • Managing accommodation bookings and room allocations
  • Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and safety procedures

You will work closely with local authorities and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in remote areas
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality operations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A hands-on, solution-focused attitude
  • Manual driver's license
  • SA Liquor Badge (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check
  • Commitment for 1–2 years minimum
