Key Role:

This pivotal position is strategically positioned to align business and technology synergies within the corporate function domain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to co-develop strategies, priorities, and roadmaps that drive business growth.
  • Capability Modelling: Work with owners to define and maintain current and target capability models aligned to business needs.
  • Roadmaps & Strategy: Design, update, and communicate the domain's strategic direction, technology roadmap, and transformation plans to drive innovation.
  • Architecture Standards & Guardrails: Define and uphold domain-specific guardrails to standardize technologies, services, and architectural patterns, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Portfolio Alignment: Shape and assure investments within the domain, ensuring alignment with the capability model, roadmap, and sequencing.
  • Governance: Support governance forums by providing oversight for architecture practices across the core corporate function domain.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and apply emerging technologies and practices to enhance domain capabilities and deliver business value.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, advising on and executing domain strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Customer-Centricity: Design solutions starting from business capability needs, rather than a technology-first approach.
  • Influence & Communication: Effectively communicate strategy, guardrails, and roadmaps to a broad range of stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Current and Target State Domain Capability Model
  • Co-developed Domain Strategy & Roadmap with stakeholders
  • Architecture Guardrails specific to the domain
  • Investment Shaping & Governance artefacts
  • Domain-specific contribution to the Digital Target State
