Job Title: Commercial Banking Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to join our Relationship Management team as a Commercial Banking Analyst. In this role, you will provide research support and analysis, developing an extensive database of client and industry-specific information, ideas, and solutions that will serve to build trust and strengthen relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake financial modeling and analysis, assessing the risks and opportunities on new lending, including preparation of credit risk submissions.
  • Collaborate with product specialists, undertaking reporting and monitoring performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in business or commercial banking, or a tier 1 or 2 accounting firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a complex and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
