Job Title: School Caretaker
">Schools require individuals to maintain their facilities and ensure a safe environment for students, staff and visitors. As a school caretaker, your role will be multifaceted, involving the upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment.
">Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs and handyman duties. You will also be responsible for supervising school cleaning staff, promoting health and safety around the school premises and carrying out daily cleaning and ad-hoc duties.
">The successful candidate will have previous property maintenance/caretaking experience within a school environment, preferably in a similar setting. A basic understanding of health and safety regulations and good interpersonal skills are essential.
">A UK driving license and ownership of transport are required for this role. The position involves working with SEMH children, so applicants must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.
