Accounting and Financial Analyst Role

Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment. We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

The Accounting and Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with all corporate reporting functions of the Company. This includes:

  • Completion of month-end closing in a timely manner, including reconciliations and journals
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting, including variance analysis
  • Cashflow management reporting and forecasting
  • Identification of opportunities to improve current systems and procedures
  • Assistance with yearly company audits and preparation of productions for audit
  • Maintenance of asset register and management of internal capex cost reporting
  • Preparation of quarterly BAS for all companies
  • Management of Tax Returns and FBT matters with external tax accountants
  • Royalty report collection and investor income distribution for past projects

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or part-qualified in accounting
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with Dynamics 365
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Acute attention to detail
