Key Responsibilities

The Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the planning and execution of critical components of the Queensland Transport and Road Investment Program (QTRIP), providing specialized technical expertise and guidance for associated infrastructure projects.

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of QTRIP projects, identifying areas for improvement across the network.
  • Provide effective leadership to a team of internal and external resources engaged in the delivery of various programs.
  • Develop and manage project management plans, reporting on progress and actual/expected expenditures.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency, implementing continuous improvements in productivity and strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements throughout all delivery phases.
  • Collaborate with project owners and managers to deliver complex cross-boundary projects.
  • Provide expert advice on contractual management, issue resolution, and contract performance monitoring.
