Job Title: Experienced Equine Professional

We are seeking an accomplished horse trainer to join our stable team in Brisbane.

This key role involves daily care and management of horses, ensuring their well-being and optimal performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the stable environment, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and general horse care.
  • Assist with veterinary services, farriery, and first aid as required.
  • Create training programs, teach horses daily routines, address behavior issues, and monitor mental health.
  • Exercise horses daily through riding and swimming, providing feedback reports.
  • Transport horses to trackwork facilities.
  • Attend trackwork, jump outs, trials, and racing events.

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a similar equine role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in racehorse training, including work with yearlings.
  • An open driver's license.
  • Experience driving with a float.
  • A QLD Trackwork license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of racing experience.
  • A Stablehand/Trackwork license.
  • Australian Work Authorization.
