Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our mobile plant and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, taking into account OEM specifications and industry best practices.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Preparing and presenting project plans and conceptual studies to ensure seamless execution
  • Coordinating monthly, weekly, and daily maintenance scheduling activities for mobile plant, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance
  • Managing personnel and resources effectively, leveraging maintenance reports to inform decision-making
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful shutdown activities and scheduling
  • Maintaining strict adherence to statutory and safety regulations across all maintenance activities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position within open-pit hard rock mining
  • Extensive practical knowledge and experience with JDE software
  • In-depth understanding of maintenance principles for large-scale mining mobile plant
  • Proven track record of implementing business and continuous improvement projects
  • Demonstrated expertise in scheduling for servicing, preventative maintenance, repair estimates, forecasting, and budgeting recurring repairs, as well as maintaining safety standards
