A well-established professional services firm is currently seeking a strategic procurement expert to join their advisory team in Canberra. The role offers an exciting opportunity to provide procurement advice to government clients on a full-time basis.

Role Overview

This permanent advisory position involves providing strategic sourcing and procurement advice to the firm's government clients. You will be working closely with a close-knit team to drive innovative propositions and enhance your skills across a diverse customer portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of government procurement policy and experience in applying relevant rules (CPRs) effectively. They should also have experience in delivering end-to-end procurement activities, including requirements gathering, definition, and management of approach to market activities. Additionally, contributing to RFT processes in the public sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the needs of government clients
  • To provide guidance on government procurement rules and regulations
  • To assist in managing procurement activities from initiation to completion
Requirements

The successful candidate will require:

  • Knowledge of government procurement policy and CPRs
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end procurement activities
  • Ability to contribute to RFT processes in the public sector
  • A minimum Baseline clearance
