About the Role

As a vital component of our Response Network, Sonder Responders provide in-person support to our members who require assistance. This role involves serving and former workers from targeted industries, offering flexibility for work-life balance while enjoying your on-call capacity.

Ideal locations include the Gold Coast area.

This is a casual employment opportunity within the Sonder Responders Network. You'll work a flexible, 24-hour on-call roster and have the autonomy to nominate your availability hours. Generous remuneration will be provided for both on-call availability and incident response.

In this role, you'll also assist the Response Network Manager:

  • Conducting stakeholder engagement to support business and operational outputs
  • Nurturing partnership relations, engagement, and training
  • Providing input to operational procedures and network management
  • Assisting with emergency and non-emergency support responses as required
Requirements

We seek experienced individuals from the military, law enforcement, mental health sector, or emergency services industries who share our passion for assisting those in need. Ideal candidates are confident in assessing critical situations and determining the next steps.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military, and/or security-related work
  • A strong local network of contacts
  • High self-awareness, motivation, and self-management
  • Ability to set priorities, act on key issues, and make quick decisions while displaying interpersonal sensitivity
  • Flexibility to work an on-call roster
