We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Kingston area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, helping our customers maintain their independence and nutrition.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting our customers' physical and mental well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' daily needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of calm and reassurance.
  • Transport our customers to appointments and social events, ensuring they can maintain their connections with friends and family.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions, requiring specialized support and care.

What We Look for in a Care Worker:
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to assisting our elderly community.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
