As a highly skilled perioperative nurse at Mater Misericordiae Ltd, you will be working in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art facilities, including brand new theatres, a catheterization laboratory, and separate onsite day surgery facilities. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking experienced professionals to join our team.

Salary Range: $41.47 - $53.30 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900

About the Role

This role involves working as an assistant to the anaesthetist, preparing the environment and equipment for the patient, administering anaesthetic equipment, receiving patients into the operating room, establishing rapport with patients, communicating relevant patient information, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
  • 2 years' experience or more as a Registered Nurse in a hospital perioperative setting with relevant specialty experience (Anaesthetics)
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essential
