About Our Cyber Security Role

As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical part in protecting information assets by designing, deploying, and maintaining robust security solutions.

The Role

\

We seek an accomplished Cyber Security Engineer to utilize their skills in threat mitigation, compliance management, and incident response to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems and data.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Implement enterprise security solutions aligned with industry-recognized frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, Essential Eight, ASD ISM).\
  • Design, document, and maintain procedures and controls to mitigate threats and meet compliance requirements.\
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises environments.\
  • Conduct security risk assessments for new and existing platforms, recommending improvements.\
  • Respond to security incidents through detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.\
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including knowledge base articles and playbooks.\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide input on security requirements for vendor contracts, RFPs, and SOWs.\
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to identify and implement process improvements.\\/ul\

Requirements

  • \
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Security, or a related field.\
  • Industry certifications in cyber security (e.g. CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, Microsoft Security Suite).\
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a cyber security engineering or related role.\\/ul\\
