Senior Industrial Designer

We are seeking a visionary and innovative individual to lead our product design team. As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of outdoor play.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality outdoor play products from concept through to mass production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and vision.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to foster growth and development.
  • Work closely with offshore suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform design decisions.
  • Create prototypes using various methods, including mock-ups, 3D printing, and collaboration with our in-house fabrication team.
  • E nsure that all products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Develop designs that align with our brand guidelines while bringing a unique perspective and 'design voice' to your work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or a recognized equivalent.
  • A proven track record of designing quality consumer products, either in-house or agency-based.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced-level Solidworks CAD skills, including demonstrated ability to produce detailed engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or autonomously, as required.
  • A modernist approach to design, demonstrating an intuitive understanding of balance, line, proportion, color, and finish.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for business purposes.
