About the Role

The Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking dedicated professionals to fill the position of Assistant in Nursing. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to patients, working closely with clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient-centered care.

  • Assist in gathering information about patient care needs through observation and notification to senior clinical staff.
  • Provide care and support to patients within the scope of Assistant in Nursing practice, professional expertise.
  • Undertake observations and assessments.
  • Follow direction and delegation from senior clinical staff.
  • Assist with safe mobility, patient hygiene, toileting, appearance, and dietary needs.
About You

To be considered suitable for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent qualification.
  • Flexibility to perform in various wards and adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams.
  • Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice.
  • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
