Independent Payroll Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking an experienced payroll professional to oversee the payroll process in a heavy EBA environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EBAs and experience in interpreting them. They should also have previous experience in standalone payroll roles where they have had to own the department and make decisions based on their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the payroll process and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Working with a service provider in a partially outsourced model
- Assisting with various implementations and supporting project teams
- Interpreting high levels of EBA documentation
- Engaging with stakeholders through queries and support
- Reporting and communicating with the service provider
- Ensuring governance and compliance for the payroll department
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience using ADP software
- True end-to-end experience including Workcover, redundancies, payroll tax, and superannuation
- Good EBA interpretation skills and proven experience working in an EBA-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage risk
