This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertaking and facilitating the delivery of theoretical and practical-based training at the Specialist Services to nurses and disability support staff in all domains of disability, NDIS High Intensity Skills Descriptors and mandatory training requirements.
  • Developing and facilitating a structured training program; providing hands-on support and educating people with disabilities and their families, where appropriate.
  • High level clinical assessment and review of client specific supports to flexibly adapt, develop or deliver education material responsively to ensure client safety and staff competency.
  • Developing an education framework that meets the governing standards mandated by the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission.
  • Providing professional support and development of a clinical nature to the specialist services nursing workforce.
  • Providing regular assessment of staff skills in relation to providing client focused supports.
