Job Summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position at the Australian College of Nursing. As a Professional Development Nurse Educator, you will develop and implement ACN professional development, immunisation education and engagement programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate ACN professional development, immunisation education and engagement programs
  • Facilitate learning across various programs ACN offers, coordinating professional development courses including the Immunisation course
  • Develop new content, manage current content, tutor students and overall student and course management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the NMBA and minimum five years post-graduate experience
  • A Graduate Diploma/Masters in an area deemed relevant by ACN or working towards same
  • Current Certificate IV TAE Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • A qualification in immunisation and experience in the field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching, educational planning, programming and evaluation, especially for online learning
  • Demonstrated high-level computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Proven ability and willingness to work collaboratively with diverse groups of internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high volume and deadline-driven environment while maintaining high standards
