We are seeking an experienced software architect to join our dynamic team and help drive the technological evolution of AI-powered core services.

About the Role

The AI & Platform Services team is at the heart of SEEK's technological growth, delivering scalable solutions that operate at a global scale. Our cross-functional squads combine specialists, strategists, and engineers to tackle complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design high-performance recommendation components that power candidate matching at global scale.
  • Owning system architecture decisions and evolving them using industry best practices and engineering principles.
  • Taking full ownership of your services in production — ensuring uptime, rapid troubleshooting, and meeting performance SLAs.

You will work alongside data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to build and scale AI-powered recommendation systems that directly impact millions of users worldwide.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong coding skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Advanced AWS cloud platform experience and proven ability to build scalable, resilient systems.
  • Solid SQL skills, Linux/Bash proficiency, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
