Software Architect

We are seeking an experienced software architect to design, develop, and maintain software applications on the mainframe environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer systems and software development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications using mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and other related tools.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software applications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and optimization tasks to ensure application performance meets business expectations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe development with a focus on CSF.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
  • Experience with the Common Services Framework (CSF) and its implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing application performance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
