Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our Product Engineering team. As a global industry leader, we shape adventures with world-class products that thrive in tough conditions.

You will bridge design and manufacturing, working hands-on with new products, processes, and tooling from prototype to production launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and optimize manufacturability of new products
  • Design and development of welding and production assembly jigs, fixtures, and gauges in SolidWorks
  • Launch new production processes in metal fabrication, welding, power coating, and assembly
  • Create bills of materials, routings, and product costing in ERP/MRP systems
  • Lead first-article inspection activities including methods of failure mode and effects analysis, standard operating procedures, and trial builds
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or production engineering
  • Strong hands-on skills in metal fabrication, tooling design, and process development
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, technical drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing readiness, quality control, and root cause analysis
  • Exposure to automotive processes is beneficial
