Job Opportunity: Tyre Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Tyre Fitter. This position involves fitting and repairing tyres on various vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of tyres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and assess tyres for wear, damage, or other issues to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Remove and replace tyres on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment to promote efficiency.
  • Mount and balance tyres to ensure proper alignment and performance.
  • Repair punctures and other tyre damage using industry-approved methods.
  • Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as needed to maintain vehicle safety.
  • Inflate tyres to the recommended pressure levels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Rotate tyres to promote even wear and extend their lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of tyre installations, repairs, and replacements.
  • Provide recommendations to customers regarding tyre selection, maintenance, and safety to enhance their experience.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tyres for their vehicles based on their needs and preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a tyre fitter or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with tyre fitting tools and equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
