Job Title: Tyre Technician

The role of a tyre technician is crucial to ensuring road safety and maintaining the quality of tyres. This position involves fitting or refitting tyres from wheels, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting workshop operations as required.

  • Ensure tyres are fitted and maintained to the highest safety standards.
  • Perform additional workshop tasks such as maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order, and assisting with preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, follow company policies and procedures, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a tyre technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fitting and refitting tyres from wheels
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Assisting with workshop duties as required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Completion of WACE or equivalent qualification
  • Forklift ticket (HWL)

Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who possesses:

  • Able to perform sustained physical work for extended periods using tools
  • Ability to work under limited supervision individually or in a team environment
  • Autonomous and able to solve their own work planning problems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
