Organic Store Leadership Position

As a leading professional in the organic food industry, you will oversee one of our busiest stores in Brisbane, part of a growing network of like-minded retailers. Your role encompasses the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring optimal performance across sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store operations, fostering a productive team environment and driving sales growth through effective merchandising and inventory control.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store sales targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering and receiving products as needed for timely restocking.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Built relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Hire, train, and develop store personnel, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
- Monitor financial records and budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues for seamless store operations.
Requirements:
- Prior knowledge of business administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years grocery retail experience, with at least 2 years managerial experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of grocery retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in back office and point-of-sale software.
