Malvern Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Malvern Maintenance Technician to join our team in a casual, ongoing capacity. The successful candidate will be required to work day shifts, Monday to Friday, and will be based in the Malvern area.

The role will involve project work and/or maintenance of equipment within a hospital environment. Key responsibilities will include performing preventative and reactive / breakdown maintenance, providing general technical support to the site, as well as some machinery installation / relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing project work and/or maintenance of equipment
  • Preventative and reactive / breakdown maintenance
  • General technical support to the site
  • Machinery installation / relocation

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications in an Engineering stream or similar
  • Previous experience in performing project work, as well as planned and reactive maintenance in Manufacturing or Building Maintenance
  • Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Web browser etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and basic welding skills
  • Restricted Electrical licence and EWP/Boom tickets will be highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Strong commitment towards WHS, excellent troubleshooting skills with analytical thinking and a logical decision-making ability
  • 3x doses of Covid Vaccination + Flu Vaccination

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in similar positions
  • Hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting of manufacturing plants and equipment
