We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of a Home Care Worker Trainee. This opportunity offers a chance to gain experience in the industry while completing a Certificate III in Individual Support.
About the Job:
- No prior experience or qualifications are required, as comprehensive training will be provided via on-the-job learning and completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support during paid work hours.
- Favorable working conditions and entitlements include flexible work arrangements, family-friendly hours, and a part-time hourly rate from $24.83 with salary packaging available.
- Collaborate with a fantastic team across the greater area.
Requirements:
- A great attitude and reliable communication skills.
- An eagerness to work with the elderly in their home environment and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- The ability to pass a National Police Check and hold a current SA Driver's licence.
- Regular availability and overall fitness, enabling you to complete a variety of tasks and pass a fitness/health assessment.
Services Provided:
- Domestic Assistance (vacuuming, mopping, changing sheets, surface cleaning of living areas).
- Bed making, room tidying up, shopping, completing weekly/fortnightly shopping for clients.
- Transportation, taking clients to and from appointments in the community.
- Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming), Respite and Social Support.
- The ability to listen, build rapport, and work effectively with a range of clients and other staff members.
