Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Legal Associate to support the Honourable Justice Craig in the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria. The role involves handling general commercial and corporate matters, including contract law, equity and trusts, franchising, insolvency, corporations and partnerships, commercial torts, class actions, and urgent duty judge matters.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual with a strong interest in commercial law. As a Legal Associate, you will gain invaluable experience across the Commercial Court and closely observe the work of a judge and counsel. You will be responsible for undertaking high-level legal research, assisting with the production of reasons for judgment, papers, and presentations, drafting Court orders, performing administrative tasks, and acting as chambers' first point of contact.
