Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Best Practice Stroke Care: Provide exceptional inpatient stroke care, adhering to the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Contribute to Clinical Research: Participate in and contribute to research initiatives, advancing the field of stroke care and improving patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and Teach: Guide and educate junior staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 22.5 hours of work per week. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our services.

Requirements

  • Clinical Qualifications: Hold an MBBS or equivalent degree, with registration with AHPRA.
  • Specialist Qualifications: Possess appropriate specialist qualifications and recent experience in a stroke fellowship or consultant role.
  • Expertise and Understanding: Demonstrate expertise in multimodal imaging and involvement in clinical trials, with a solid understanding of contemporary medical practices and patient rights.
