We are looking for an expert with extensive experience in aircraft structural engineering, who can provide design, stress analysis, fatigue, and certification expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for aircraft structures, providing design, stress analysis, fatigue, and certification expertise.">
  • Lead development, validation, and approval of structural designs, load assessments, and repair solutions that meet airworthiness regulations and certification requirements.">
  • Provide engineering leadership for AOG and sustainment support, delivering timely, safe, and cost-effective repair solutions using classical techniques and tools.">
  • Drive structural trade studies, optimization, and risk assessments to inform program-level decisions.">
  • Mentor and guide teams of engineers, fostering growth in technical expertise and engineering judgment.">

Requirements:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Structural or Aerospace Engineering.">
  • Possess extensive experience in aircraft structural engineering, with proven expertise in both modification and sustainment.">
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of structural analysis techniques, repair development, and certification processes within Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) environment or equivalent systems.">
  • Showcase strong leadership and mentoring skills, ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders.">
  • Possess passion for delivering safe, innovative, and cost-effective solutions enhancing aircraft performance and lifecycle value.">
