Housekeeping Team Lead

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team in one of Australia's most picturesque alpine destinations. In this key role, you will lead a dedicated housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This hands-on leadership position involves overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring our apartments and resort facilities are presented to the highest standard for every guest. You will provide guidance and training to the housekeeping team while working closely with management to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the housekeeping team to maintain high cleaning standards
  • Coordinate daily room allocations and workload management
  • Train, motivate and support team members to achieve excellence
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas
  • Manage stock control of cleaning supplies and linen
  • Assist with rostering and ensuring team efficiency
  • Uphold workplace safety and compliance procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping supervisory or team leader experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a passion for guest service
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
  • Positive, reliable, and hands-on attitude
