About the Role:

  • Maintain safe and efficient daily operations of the quarry, adhering to operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensure operational excellence through regular assessments and improvements.
  • Manage site expenditure effectively, aligning with targets.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in sand quarrying/mining, including load & haul, crushing, screening, washing, and managing silt/by-products.
  • Strong leadership skills, with expertise in mine planning, staff training, and implementing maintenance programs.
  • Qualifications in Surface Extraction Operations/Management (Cert IV or Diploma) and Quarry Manager Certificate of Competence.
  • Proven experience in P&L management and budget optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
