About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished PhD holder to join our team as a Quantitative Researcher. As a Quantitative Researcher at SIG, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will apply your mathematical and statistical expertise to solve complex problems in quantitative finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and develop new trading strategies and models using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques.
  • Collaborate with our trading and technology teams to design and implement new trading systems and algorithms.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize existing trading strategies.
  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models and algorithms to support our trading activities.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills and experience with advanced mathematical techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
