As a senior property underwriter, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the development and achievement of goals established for profit, growth, service, and producer relations within the Major Accounts Division.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Underwrite Process / Analysis: You will be responsible for analyzing complex risks and making informed decisions on coverage and pricing.">
  • Assist in Positioning and Negotiations: You will work closely with producers and brokers to deliver profitable transactions and achieve financial plans.">
  • Portfolio Management: You will select new risks and underwrite renewals for assigned book of business and/or designated speciality classes or market segments within Property portfolio.">
  • Technical Leadership: You will provide technical guidance and expertise to underwriters, marketers, and other stakeholders on risk referrals and portfolio management.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • ">
  • 5 years' experience in property or package underwriting and development role with an insurance company.">
  • High degree of technical underwriting ability; oral and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.">
  • Ability to effectively interact with brokerage, customer, and internal stakeholders at all levels.">
  • Develop creative solutions to unique underwriting situations through making recommendations for tailoring coverage and manuscripting policies.">
  • Strong understanding of advanced pricing techniques (retro rating, composition of experience mod, etc.)">
