Role Overview

Locum Nuclear Medicine Scientist - Canberra

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected organisation and broaden your expertise as a Locum Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist. You will be working across our Braddon and University of Canberra locations, performing a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
  • Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
  • Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures.
  • Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
  • AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
