Meat Processing Casual Worker

We are seeking casual workers to join our team in the meat processing industry in Toowoomba QLD.
As a Meat Process Worker/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to meat processing, including working on production lines, maintaining equipment, and handling raw and cooked meat products.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Industry experience in manufacturing, manual handling or food processing
- Previous knife experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to repetitively lift 5kg - 25kg
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a cold environment
- Commitment to working safely and following procedures
To be successful, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a driver's license and own reliable transport
- Able to pass a drug, alcohol, and physical assessment
- Have the Q Fever vaccination or be willing to get the vaccination
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
This is a casual position with full-time hours (average 38hr/week, plus overtime opportunities) and ongoing training provided. All uniforms and PPE are provided.
The shift times are between 5 am - 6 am and finish around 3 pm or 2:30 pm and finish around 11:30 pm.
This role requires a flexible and reliable individual who can adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast-paced environment.
