About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PR & Communications Consultant to join our team at Just Digital People. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective communication strategies to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication Materials: Develop a variety of communication materials, including media releases, project fact sheets, social media content, reports, media pitches, event concepts, EDMs/newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists and editors to achieve exceptional results for our clients.
  • Media Pitching: Successfully pitch stories to the media for coverage.
  • New Business Development: Develop new business proposals and contribute to pitches for potential clients.
  • Client Management: Manage client accounts, prepare media coverage and social media reports, and handle meeting minutes/agendas.
  • Client Meetings: Participate in regular client meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in PR.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication.
  • Network: Strong network within the general media and national property media.
  • Presentation Skills: Presentation skillset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Highly desired with experience in Sydney's property industry.
  • Social Media: In-depth knowledge of social media with hands-on experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Key attention to detail.
  • Attitude: A collaborative, positive attitude, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Education: A degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism or relevant working experience.
  • Multitasking: Able to multitask across multiple client accounts.
