A key role in our hospitality team, the Public Area Cleaner is responsible for maintaining impeccably clean public spaces.
Main Responsibilities:- Cleaning designated areas such as corridors, lifts, lobbies, offices, reception areas, stairs, ironing rooms, changing rooms, and meeting rooms.
- Efficiently completing cleaning tasks to a high standard within a fast-paced environment.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures, including COSHH guidelines.
- Reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to management promptly.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used appropriately and safely.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve cleanliness goals and maintain a positive working environment.
- Following instructions from supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and specific tasks.
- Experience: Preferred experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, particularly in cleaning or public area cleaner positions.
- Skill and knowledge:
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills.
