About the Role:

Kincare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Assistance Provider to join our team in Pakenham VIC.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance to older people, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and managing medication.
  • Assist with mobility and therapy goals to maintain independence.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to customers and their families.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments.
  • Care for customers with complex needs, including those with dementia.

What We Look For:

  • A genuine desire to assist the aged community in living independently at home for longer.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday.
  • Comfort working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems.
